Joan Duffy Student Travel Award (North Central Division / Wisconsin Chapter)

The North Central Division of the American Fisheries Society, in partnership with the Wisconsin Chapter, offers the Joan Duffy Student Travel Award—a single annual $400 travel grant ($200 from NCD matched by $200 from the Wisconsin Chapter) to help a student attend the Midwest Fish & Wildlife Conference. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Wisconsin college or university degree program and are selected by the local Wisconsin Chapter; selection is based on AFS involvement and demonstrated financial need. Submit an application letter containing contact and institutional information, degree level, a brief description of current research, reasons for attending the meeting, and an explanation of financial need; completed Wisconsin Chapter applications should be sent to scholarship@wi-afs.org.
