About this program
The Journalism Science Alliance, coordinated by the European Union of Science Journalists' Associations (EUSJA), is funding collaborations that pair journalists and scientists to produce investigative, scientifically grounded journalism on issues of public interest. Applications must be submitted in English via the EJC Platform; full details, deadlines and funding amounts are posted on the Journalism Science Alliance grants 2026 webpage. Eligible teams must be led by a media outlet with a research or academic institution as co‑lead, both based in a country participating in the Creative Europe Programme, and may include journalists from print, broadcast, digital, multimedia and documentary formats and scientists from any relevant discipline. Freelancers and other partners may join teams but cannot apply as sole applicants.
