Judy Konieczka Memorial Grant

About this program

The North Dakota Library Association (NDLA) established the Judy Konieczka Memorial Grant (2025) to fund professional development for North Dakota librarians and libraries in programming, customer service, marketing, and reference, supporting attendance at conferences, workshops, webinars, or hosting staff training. Awardees may receive up to $1,000 annually; grant funds are reimbursed after submission of an evaluative report and supporting documentation (e.g., CEU certificates), and recipients must execute a written contract with NDLA detailing completion conditions. Applicants must be current NDLA members and submit a detailed budget, a narrative describing expected personal and career development, and up to five items describing the proposed program; awardees must file the evaluative report for the NDLA Executive Board to be published in The Good Stuff.
