June Cummins Diversity Conference Travel Grant

About this program

The Children’s Literature Association (ChLA) offers the June Cummins Diversity Conference Travel Grant to support the professional development and conference participation of students, contingent faculty, and independent scholars from minority and other underrepresented communities. Funding assists applicants presenting ChLA research focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Applicants must submit a Word document by February 28 containing a cover sheet, a personal statement of up to 1,000 words addressing their background, presentation, diversity-related scholarship or teaching, conference benefits, and other funding sources, along with a one- to two-page CV.
