Just in Time (JIT) Award to support resubmission of competitive grant applications and P01/SPORE submissions

Case Comprehensive Cancer Center (Case Western Reserve University) offers a Just in Time (JIT) seed award of $25,000 for one year to support resubmission of highly competitive grant applications that narrowly missed the payline and to aid preparation/submission of P01/SPORE proposals. Priority is given to R01 proposals scored at or below the 20th percentile and to P01/SPORE projects needing key data for main projects; awards are made on a rolling basis. Eligible applicants are Case CCC members; R01 resubmissions and P01/SPORE submissions must occur within one year, projects must demonstrate outstanding scientific merit and impact, and awardees must collaborate with the Pilot Advisory Committee to review summary statements and revise applications. Funds must be expended within the 12-month funding period (no-cost extensions not permitted), and use of shared resources should involve Case CCC facilities unless external use is adequately justified.
