Just-In-Time (JIT) Core Usage Funding Program

About this program

Washington University Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences, together with partners including Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Siteman Cancer Center, and affiliated hospital foundations, offers the Just‑In‑Time (JIT) Core Usage Funding Program to provide rapid support for use of JIT Cores to generate preliminary data for clinical/translational grant applications or to obtain data that yields immediate, measurable improvements in patient care. Projects should advance medical knowledge and human health, with special consideration for later‑stage translational studies conducted in human populations. QA/QI projects must be led by WashU faculty and involve Barnes‑Jewish Hospital or St. Louis Children’s Hospital (non‑WashU investigators are ineligible for QA/QI submissions), and applicants must adhere to program funding limits, deadlines, and application requirements.
