Karl E. Peace Award for Outstanding Statistical Contributions for the Betterment of Society

The American Statistical Association offers the Karl E. Peace Award for Outstanding Statistical Contributions for the Betterment of Society to recognize statisticians whose substantial professional contributions have directly improved human welfare and demonstrate a commitment to service for the greater good. Recipients receive $1,000, presented annually at the committee’s discretion. Nominations are due March 1 and must include a nominating letter, the candidate’s CV, two support letters of no more than two pages each, and a headshot. Nominees should be distinguished individuals whose achievements clearly document meaningful contributions to statistics and society.
