Katherine K. Wallman Award for Transformative Impact on Federal, State, or Local Statistics

About this program

The American Statistical Association offers the Katherine K. Wallman Award for transformative contributions that advance the relevance, credibility, utility, objectivity, and public trust of federal, state, or local official statistics to address pressing policy problems. The annual award includes a plaque, a $2,500 honorarium, and a virtual lecture. Individuals or small groups from any profession, employment sector, or career stage are eligible if they have directly fostered, enabled, or produced significant transformative outcomes; nominations are due March 1 and must include a nomination letter, one to three support letters, and a CV for each nominee.
