Kathleen Briggs Outstanding Mentor Award

The National Council on Family Relations offers the Kathleen Briggs Outstanding Mentor Award to recognize exceptional mentoring of graduate students and new professionals in marriage and family therapy. Presented biennially in odd-numbered years at the NCFR Annual Conference, the award includes a plaque and $200 honorarium. Nominees must be current NCFR and Family Therapy Section members who actively mentor and demonstrate contributions to professional development, scholarly engagement, leadership, and a supportive environment. Nominations require a detailed letter and at least two additional letters of support, including at least two from students or new professionals; the deadline is May 22.
