Kellogg Institute Award for Outstanding Doctoral Student Contributions

About this program

The Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame offers the annual Kellogg Institute Award for Outstanding Doctoral Student Contributions (est. 2016–17), a $500 prize recognizing a doctoral affiliate’s sustained, dynamic contributions to the Institute’s intellectual life, announced at the Year-End Celebration. Eligibility is limited to current Kellogg Institute doctoral student affiliates. Recipients must demonstrate sustained engagement that advances the Institute community and significant contributions in one or more areas: independent research on Kellogg themes with external recognition, collaborative research with a faculty fellow likely to produce significant outputs, or development/implementation of programming that benefits the graduate community (e.g., coordinating working groups or organizing events). Nominations may be submitted by any Kellogg community member via a one-page letter to Senior Program Manager Lupe Ramírez at gramirez@nd.edu.
