Kentucky Humanities Minigrants (up to $2,500)

About this program

Kentucky Humanities offers Minigrants of up to $2,500 to support public-facing humanities programming across the Commonwealth, such as lectures, exhibits, book discussions, conferences, radio/video productions, and community-oriented curricular materials. Awards fund projects directed primarily at the general public (not regular classroom instruction) that demonstrate substantial humanities content and active collaboration with a Principal Humanities Scholar. Eligible applicants are Kentucky-based registered nonprofits, institutions, or groups with active SAM.gov registration and a UEI; for-profits, individuals, political/advocacy organizations, and current KH grantees are ineligible. Grants require a 1:1 cash or in-kind cost share, a scholar’s letter of support, LOI submission (rolling review), and full applications submitted at least eight weeks before the proposed award period (due the last day of each month).
