Kinne Legacy Award

About this program

The North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) presents the Kinne Legacy Award as a recognition (non-monetary) honoring a member who has freely and selflessly shared professional expertise to educate, mentor, advocate for, or otherwise advance NANPA members in creative or business aspects of nature photography. Both the nominee and the nominator must be current NANPA members, and eligible nominees must have uncompensated contributions that demonstrably benefitted numerous NANPA members over an extended period. Selection emphasizes long-term, selfless mentorship, promotion of professional education and career paths for emerging nature photographers, and advocacy aligned with NANPA’s mission. Support of other organizations or mentoring of non-members does not qualify; consult NANPA for current nomination periods and procedures.
