Kulczycki Book Prize in Polish Studies

About this program

The Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES), with support from the Kulczycki family, awards an annual cash prize for the best book on any aspect of Polish affairs published in the preceding calendar year. The winning work is recognized at the ASEEES Annual Convention. Eligible submissions must be English-language monographs, preferably by one or no more than two authors, published outside Poland and predominantly focused on Polish studies; textbooks, translations, reference works, bibliographies, and self-published books are excluded. Only authors or publishers may nominate a book, with the nomination form due April 15 and copies received by May 15; books may be nominated for no more than two ASEEES prizes.
