Landmark Nomination Support

About this program

4Culture offers Landmark Nomination Support grants of typically $1,000–$10,000 to fund research, documentation, consultant fees, outreach, and preparation of local landmark nominations for historic properties in King County, Washington. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from June 1 through December 1, 2026, and funded projects must be completed within 24 months. Eligible applicants include King County residents age 18 or older, organizations, community groups, Tribes, and municipalities operating in King County, provided they have the property owner’s written consent and propose a property in an eligible jurisdiction. Applicants must contact 4Culture before applying, demonstrate public benefit and project feasibility, and complete the work on a reimbursement basis.
