About this program

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Lawrence W. and Francis W. Cox Scholarship annually to one undergraduate civil engineering student for tuition and academic fees. The award amount is determined annually based on endowment income and selection considers academic performance, leadership, educational plans, potential, and financial need. Applicants must be ASCE members in good standing and enrolled in, and continuing within, an ABET-accredited or equivalent undergraduate civil engineering or related program. Applications are due January 15 and must include a faculty-signed contact form, budget statement, 500-word essay, resume, official transcript, and at least two recommendation letters, including one from faculty.
