About this program

The Raptor Research Foundation offers one Leslie Brown Research Grant annually to support research and information dissemination on African birds of prey. The award provides up to $5,000 plus waived page charges for a primary-author paper in the Journal of Raptor Research. Applicants must propose a study focused on African raptors and submit a cover letter, CV, proposal of no more than five pages, detailed budget and funding information, expected results, and an applicant photograph. Applications are submitted online by June 30, with the application period opening in January.
