About this program
The IEEE Electron Devices Society offers the Lester F. Eastman Award to recognize outstanding achievements in high-performance semiconductor devices. The annual award includes a $5,000 prize and certificate and is presented at IEDM or another EDS flagship conference. Applicants may be any active semiconductor-device professional, regardless of IEEE EDS membership, and nominations must demonstrate field impact through leadership, publications, patents, or technology transitions. Nominations are due July 1; the award cannot recognize work previously honored by an IEEE technical field award, medal, or other society-level award.
