Lifetime Achievement in Creative Scholarship (LACS) – BEA Awards

About this program

The Broadcast Education Association (BEA) offers the Lifetime Achievement in Creative Scholarship (LACS) Award to honor current or retired faculty members with an extensive record of media-related creative scholarship or sustained impact on students’ creative work, typically spanning at least 20 years. Nominees must be current BEA individual, institutional, or associate members and demonstrate significant contributions to creative scholarship. Nominations are accepted September 1–December 31, with the recipient announced February 15 and recognized at the BEA Annual Convention in April; current BEA board members are ineligible but may submit nominations.
