Links Lecture Award

About this program

The American Statistical Association offers the Links Lecture Award to honor significant contributions to advancing official statistics, particularly through administrative and alternative data, record linkage, blended estimates, and related privacy, quality, and reproducibility issues. The recipient receives a $1,000 honorarium and delivers a virtual lecture on their work and vision for the future of official statistics. Nominees may be submitted by others or themselves and must demonstrate relevant professional experience, the potential to advance official statistics, and strong public communication skills. Nominations are due March 1 and require a nomination letter, CV, and two letters of support.
