LMS Interdisciplinary Collaboration Grants

The London Mathematical Society is offering Interdisciplinary Collaboration Grants to support UK-hosted joint lectures and events that connect mathematics with other disciplines (e.g., medicine, engineering), providing £400 per event up to a total fund of £4,000 to support up to ten events. Applications must be submitted by the university's LMS Representative via the LMS website (account required); events must take place in the UK and both the event and the claim must be completed before 31 July of the LMS financial year—grants will not be made retrospectively. Submit well in advance according to the annual cycles (example deadlines 15 Oct, 22 Jan, 15 May with corresponding decision and event windows), note applications are not considered between mid‑May and mid‑October, and only one grant per scheme per person per LMS financial year (1 Aug–31 Jul) is permitted; informal advice is available from the Membership Team.
