Lorraine Williams Greene Award for Social Justice

About this program

APA Division 18 offers the Lorraine Williams Greene Award for Social Justice to recognize an individual whose career reflects exceptional service to public safety, social justice, and people affected by or administering the justice system. Nominees should have demonstrated meaningful contributions to communities, youth, individuals with serious mental illness, crime victims, public safety personnel, or justice officials, as well as service to professional psychology and social justice organizations. Nominations must include a supporting letter describing the candidate’s contributions, a curriculum vitae, and two additional letters of support. Materials are due May 31 annually and should be submitted to president@publicservicepsych.org.
