Martin S. Kapp Foundation Engineering Award

About this program

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Martin S. Kapp Foundation Engineering Award to recognize outstanding, innovative design or construction of foundations, earthworks, retaining structures, or underground facilities. The award includes a plaque and an honorarium, with emphasis on constructed works that overcame significant challenges or achieved substantial economies and were documented in a publication accessible to the engineering community. Applicants may be nominated regardless of ASCE membership and must be supported by a signed cover letter, CV or biographical information, and two or three recommendation letters by August 15.
