The Electrochemical Society’s Physical and Analytical Electrochemistry Division offers the Max Bredig Award in Molten Salt and Ionic Liquid Chemistry to recognize significant contributions and encourage high-quality research publications in the field. The award includes a scroll and USD $1,500, and recipients must present a lecture at the corresponding ECS meeting’s International Symposium on Molten Salts and Ionic Liquids. Eligible nominees are scientists working in molten salt and ionic liquid chemistry; ECS membership is not required. Nominations, accepted from October 15 of even years through January 15 of odd years, must include a form, CV, ECS journal publication list, qualification summary, nomination letter, and two to five support letters.
