Mechanistic Assays using Stored Plasma from ITN LEAP-Trial Participants

The Immune Tolerance Network (ITN), supported by NIAID/NIH, invites proposals to perform novel mechanistic assays using banked plasma from 582 LEAP/LEAP‑On trial participants (multiple timepoints, 250 µL–2.5 mL per sample) with linked clinical and whole‑genome data. Priority will be given to hypothesis‑driven pilot studies and cutting‑edge assays adapted to clinical samples; applicants may request samples only or samples plus limited funding (funding dependent on availability), and ITN will assist with analyses and data integration. Applicants should be established laboratories with a strong publication record for the proposed assay; proposals must be brief (≤5 pages) and include a clear hypothesis, preliminary data, and a power calculation to justify sample size.
