MED Associates Brady-Schuster Award (Division 28)

The American Psychological Association, Division 28 (Psychopharmacology and Substance Abuse) awards the MED Associates Brady‑Schuster Award to a mid‑career or senior scientist whose research highlights the fundamental importance of behavioral science to psychopharmacology or substance use; the prize includes a cash award, funding support to attend the APA annual meeting, and an engraved plaque. Eligible nominees must be at least 15 years past receipt of the doctoral degree with an established record of outstanding research in psychopharmacology, behavioral pharmacology, or substance use, and must be nominated by a Member or Fellow of the Society (Division 28/APA membership preferred but not required); nominations of candidates from underrepresented minority groups are strongly encouraged. Nominations require a letter describing the nominee’s scientific contributions, the nominee’s CV, and selected reprints or manuscripts; electronic submissions are accepted (use subject line "Division 28 Nomination"), with an annual deadline of December 1.
