About this program
The Entomological Society of America’s Medical, Urban and Veterinary Entomology (MUVE) Section offers the MUVE Early Career Award to recognize outstanding contributions in research, extension, teaching, outreach, or service, with a $500 prize and award plaque. Nominees must be current ESA and MUVE members classified as Early Career Professionals or Student Transition members and be within five years of earning their terminal M.S. or Ph.D. degree. Applications require a cover letter, nomination letter, two support letters, and a CV submitted as one electronic PDF of no more than 20 pages by June 1 annually.
