About this program

The Raptor Research Foundation’s Michele Panuccio Memorial Grant supports field research on raptor migration and conservation in Europe, awarding up to $3,500 annually to one recipient, along with waived page charges for a primary-authored paper in the Journal of Raptor Research. Applicants must be young researchers no older than 35 and submit an English-language cover letter, CV, photograph, and a proposal of no more than five pages detailing the study’s justification, objectives, methods, budget, other funding, expected results, and literature cited. Applications are submitted online by June 30, with the application period opening in January.
