Mid-Career Scientist Award

About this program

The International Coral Reef Society offers its annual Mid-Career Scientist Award to recognize outstanding coral reef research conducted over approximately the preceding 10 years, including contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion, mentorship, and community engagement. One recipient receives a certificate, an invitation to present at the next ICRS symposium, and an invitation to contribute an article to Reef Encounter; ICRS Fellow status may also be considered separately. Applicants must be current ICRS members with at least three years of membership during the past five years and typically have 10–20 years of post-PhD experience. Applications are due February 15.
