About this program

Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) provides annual Monitoring Grants to fund monitoring activities necessary for projects that protect or restore native fish and wildlife habitat or natural watershed/ecosystem functions to improve water quality and stream flows; the 2026 cycle opens in Spring 2026 and closes in Summer 2026. Eligible applicants include Tribes, watershed councils, soil and water conservation districts, not‑for‑profit corporations, schools, Oregon and independent not‑for‑profit institutions of higher education, and political subdivisions of the state that are not state agencies; state and federal agencies may only participate as partners, and all applicants must have a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN).
