mPact Spotlight Award

About this program

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) offers the mPact Spotlight Award to recognize young real estate finance professionals (age 40 or under) who demonstrate commitment to their company's success, community engagement, and improving outcomes for homebuyers; the program runs twice yearly with separate Residential and Commercial submission periods. Winners receive complimentary enrollment in MBA Education (School of Mortgage Banking I for Residential or School of Multifamily Mortgage Banking for Commercial), recognition at the mPact Summit, social media spotlights, and a winner’s badge (no cash award). Eligible nominees are industry professionals aged 40 or under; nominations may be submitted by the nominee or by others, with Commercial submissions open Feb 10–Apr 30 and Residential submissions open Jul 1–Aug 31. Previous mPact Spotlight winners are ineligible for nomination for two years after their award, and applications should highlight specific skills, measurable industry contributions, and community commitment.
