NAFB Foundation Continuing Education Grants

About this program

NAFB Foundation offers Continuing Education Grants to support professional development for farm broadcasters, awarding up to $5,000 annually with individual NAFB Broadcast Council members eligible to request up to $1,000 each. Applicants must be individual NAFB members in good standing who have been members for at least one full calendar year. Applications must describe the educational activity, requested amount, intended use of funds, timeline, and benefits to the applicant, employer, and NAFB; funds may be used for tuition (preference for agriculture or communications courses), leadership development, trade mission underwriting, registration fees, webinars, and similar educational expenses. Applications are typically reviewed within two weeks; if approved, checks are payable to the employer or event/course, recipients must submit a completion report and allow promotional use of information, and awardees are ineligible for another grant for two years.
