NALMS Student Travel Grant

About this program

The North American Lake Management Society (NALMS) Student Travel Grant provides financial support for students to attend the NALMS symposium, potentially covering complimentary symposium registration (including meals), a complimentary hotel stay up to three nights, and reimbursement of reasonable transportation expenses up to $250 (US). Applicants must be enrolled students at the time of application and submit proof of enrollment plus two letters of recommendation (one from the student’s research advisor and one from another faculty member). Required application information includes contact and affiliation details, abstract title, requested assistance (registration, hotel, length of stay, travel method), and an estimate of transportation costs; applicants may also upload supporting materials such as a CV, publication and presentation lists. Supporting documents must be uploaded as PDFs (accepted file type; max 50 MB).
