The North American Native Fishes Association (NANFA) offers the Gerald C. Corcoran Education Grant, providing up to $2,000 every other year for educational projects focused on native fish ecology and conservation. Eligible activities include educational materials, aquatic surveys, lectures, exhibits, school resources, field or laboratory supplies, and teacher-training workshops. Applicants must be NANFA members in good standing and submit a detailed proposal with objectives, target audiences, project description, evaluation methods, timeline, itemized budget, and collaborator information; regional projects may receive priority. Awardees must provide financial accounting, acknowledge NANFA support, and report project outcomes through an article, conference presentation, or NANFA website content.
