NCA Grants for Projects and Events

About this program

The National Communication Association provides one-time grants up to $5,000 to support projects and events that advance the discipline of Communication, especially work focused on the field itself and aligned with NCA’s strategic plan. Awards are intended for activities with impact beyond a single department, campus, or NCA unit; preference is given to stand-alone projects/events, though partial funding of a larger project will be considered if earmarked for a specific component. Individual research projects are ineligible; applicants must request one-time funding ≤ $5,000 and follow NCA’s application procedures (note: if you updated your NCA Member Portal credentials on or after Jan 21, reset your Grants Portal password to match) and may contact the NCA Research Department with questions.
