NCFR Affiliate Councils Award for Meritorious Service

About this program

The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) offers the Affiliate Councils Award for Meritorious Service to recognize exceptional leadership, community service, public policy engagement, student mentoring, and other contributions to state or regional affiliates. Up to five recipients annually receive a plaque presented at the NCFR Annual Conference. Nominees must have at least three years of continuous affiliate involvement, current affiliate membership, at least one term as an affiliate board member or state officer, and active NCFR participation. Applications, due May 22, must include the application form, at least one recommendation letter, documentation of eligibility, and the nominee’s current CV or résumé.
