NCRF Student Intern Scholarship

About this program

The National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF) offers the NCRF Student Intern Scholarship, a $2,000 award given annually to four high-achieving students pursuing careers in court reporting or captioning. This scholarship supports students who have completed the internship portion of their education and are enrolled in a stenographic court reporting/captioning program. Eligibility requires current NCRA student membership, completion of an internship within the past 12 months, passing specific speed tests (190 wpm for judicial, 160 wpm for CART/captioning), a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and a letter of recommendation. The application period runs from September 2, 2025, to December 5, 2025.
