About this program
The North Dakota Space Grant Consortium, in partnership with North Dakota Vision Services/School for the Blind, offers up to five annual scholarships from a collective $2,500 award pool to support students pursuing STEM or STEM education degrees. Applicants must be U.S. citizens enrolled at an NDSGC affiliate institution, in good academic standing, and eligible for NDVS/SB services; nursing majors are ineligible under NASA regulations. Applications, including a 500-word essay on how visual impairment has influenced the applicant’s pursuit of a STEM career, are due February 15.
