About this program
The New York AHEC Scholars Program, sponsored by the New York State Area Health Education Center, offers a unique certificate program for health professions students. This multidisciplinary initiative provides hands-on training, rural community experience, and networking opportunities, with a focus on interprofessional education and health equity.
Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited health or allied health program, able to commit to the 2-year program, and passionate about improving health outcomes for diverse populations.
