About this program
The Society for Environmental, Population, and Conservation Psychology offers the Newman-Proshansky Career Achievement Award annually to honor an individual’s significant lifetime contributions to environmental, population, and/or conservation psychology. The award includes a certificate, an invitation to address the upcoming APA convention, and complimentary one-year division membership. Nominees must be current division members with substantive contributions in the field, and nominations must include a detailed statement, supporting letter(s), and, if available, the nominee’s curriculum vitae. Nominations are due February 2, 2027, and should be emailed to awards@sepcp.org.
