The American Chemical Society (ACS) Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable (GCIPR) offers the CMO Excellence in Green Chemistry Award to recognize Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) companies for their advancements in pharmaceutical green chemistry. The award focuses on greener synthetic route development for starting materials, intermediates, or APIs, emphasizing improvements in environmental impact, safety, and efficiency. Eligible applicants are CMO companies, with no requirement for ACS or GCIPR membership or geographic restrictions. The award includes a plaque, team certificates, and up to $5,000 in funding, plus $2,500 for travel to present at the ACS Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference.
