Nyapati Rao and Francis Lu International Medical Graduate (IMG) Fellowship

About this program

The AADPRT Nyapati Rao and Francis Lu International Medical Graduate Fellowship supports the professional growth and leadership development of exceptional international medical graduate psychiatry residents and fellows, particularly those interested in education. Up to five fellows receive travel support to attend the AADPRT Annual Meeting, mentorship, and guidance to develop and disseminate an education innovation project. Applicants must be PGY-1–3 psychiatry residents, CAP-1 fellows, or PGY-4 residents entering a full-time fellowship, and must be nominated by an AADPRT-member training director; institutions may submit one nomination per eligible year. Applications are due September 22 and must include a nomination letter, candidate statement, curriculum vitae, and a project proposal addressing needs, goals, methods, evaluation, and dissemination.
