NZSTA Funding Grants

About this program

New Zealand Speech‑language Therapists Association (NZSTA) offers annual Funding Grants of up to NZ$2,000 to NZSTA members to develop or complete clinical or professional projects, study, or research that will benefit the association or the speech‑language therapy profession in New Zealand. Applications are accepted in writing by 5pm on 30 June each year (the Awards and Grants Committee may consider late applications if funding remains). Applicants must be NZSTA members and are limited to one successful Funding Grant every three years. Applications must request a specific amount and include a clear budget; research proposals must state they are likely completable within 18 months and commit to dissemination via NZSTA events/publications, while course/conference applicants must indicate presentation plans and commit to sharing outcomes; selection considers relevance to NZ practice, contribution to evidence‑based practice and knowledge, applicant NZSTA involvement, and prior dissemination/funding history.
