About this program
The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) offers the annual Olney Medal, its highest scientific honor, to recognize outstanding achievements in textile chemistry, polymer science, fibrous materials, textile manufacturing processes, or evaluation methods. The award includes a gold medal, framed certificate, US$1,000 honorarium, complimentary Summit benefits, and an invitation to present the Olney Address at the Textile Discovery Summit. Any individual AATCC member may nominate a candidate, and self-nominations are accepted; nominees do not need to be AATCC members. Candidates must have made a significant contribution to textile science, with nominations due March 31 and reviewed by unanimous decision of the CS65 Olney Award Committee.
