Oregon Grant-Funded Community Health Worker Certification

About this program

The Oregon Health Authority and the Office of Rural Health offer grants to support the certification of community health workers. This funding initiative aims to train and employ community health workers in Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, and rural public health departments across Oregon. Applicants must be eligible organizations with the capacity to employ certified community health workers, and the program will accept applications until funding is exhausted, with a goal of training 25 CHWs in 2025.
