Oregon Promise Grant — tuition aid for Oregon community college students

About this program

Oregon Student Aid (Higher Education Coordinating Commission) administers the Oregon Promise Grant, a state tuition grant for recent Oregon high school graduates and GED® recipients attending any Oregon community college; award ranges for full-time, full-year students are approximately $2,202–$4,584 for 2025–26 and $2,280–$4,716 for 2026–27. Eligible applicants must be Oregon residents for at least 12 months and apply during their senior year or immediately after GED completion, submit the Oregon Promise application in the OSAC Student Portal, and file the FAFSA or ORSAA listing at least one Oregon community college. Additional requirements include a minimum 2.0 high school GPA (or GED® score of 145), no more than 90 college credits attempted, adherence to Student Aid Index limits, beginning enrollment at least half-time, and satisfying FAFSA verification and renewal rules.
