ORS New Investigator Recognition Awards

About this program

The Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) offers the New Investigator Recognition Awards to recognize emerging researchers through podium and poster presentations at the ORS 2027 Annual Meeting, with the final recipient selected based on presentation and abstract quality. Abstract submissions open June 15, 2026. Applicants must have completed a residency or PhD, have no more than five years of active research experience afterward, and be ORS members in good standing. Candidates must be the first-listed, presenting, and corresponding author of the submitted abstract, demonstrate that the work is their own, and not be previous award winners.
