About this program

Raptor Research Foundation, Inc. funds the Oscar Beingolea Raptor Research Grant to support field research on raptors in Latin America (including the Guianas) and the Caribbean, offering awards up to $4,000 plus waived page charges for publication in the Journal of Raptor Research. Priority is given to projects addressing poorly known species, systems, or questions and those including conservation or community engagement, with preference for Latin American or Caribbean nationals/residents with limited access to other funding. Applicants must be the primary author of any resulting publication, submit proposals in English, and provide a cover letter, CV, a proposal of no more than five pages (background/justification, objectives and methods, budget, other funding, expected results), a one‑page literature cited, and a photograph.
