Outstanding Achievement in Social Policy Award

Social Policy Association (SPA) offers the annual Outstanding Achievement in Social Policy Award to academics (UK and international) who have made an outstanding and sustained contribution to advancing social policy scholarship; the winner(s) receive £250. Candidates must meet at least one criterion such as sustained scholarly contribution, sustained impact on political process or discourse (e.g., advisory/consultancy work or public recognition), or demonstrated leadership and esteem within the discipline. Nominations use the SPA pro‑forma, must be supported by three nominators (at least one SPA member), include a 500‑word Case for Award and the nominee’s full CV, and be submitted by the stated deadline.
