About this program
The American Accounting Association’s Strategic and Emerging Technologies (SET) Section presents the Outstanding Educator Award to recognize exceptional educational contributions in strategic and emerging technologies, with recipients honored by a plaque at the Annual SET Section Business Meeting. Selection emphasizes educational impact, originality and innovation, and contributions to the broader AIS and IS communities. Nominees must be current AAA members, nominated by a SET Section member, and cannot be SET Section officers or award committee members; nominations must include a justification and assessment of educational contributions. Nominations are due annually by March 1 to the award committee chair.
