Outstanding Extension Educator Award

About this program

The American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) offers the Outstanding Extension Educator Award to recognize at least 10 years of impactful contributions to horticultural science extension education; the award includes a plaque but no monetary stipend. Nominees must be active ASHS members, currently engaged in research, extension, or teaching, and may not be previous recipients of the award or its equivalent. Nominations, due February 4, must include a curriculum vitae, a 400-word biographical summary, a nomination letter of no more than 500 words, and three to five support letters, including one from another institution; nominators must also be active ASHS members.
